Murphy Check Valves and Pressure Relief Valves enhance the operation of diesel engine fuel shutdown valves by reducing the time required for complete engine shutdown after the solenoid valve closes.
Check valves close off the fuel return lines to prevent fuel or air from re-entering the injection system through the bypass line. This allows fuel to flow away from the injectors, but closes to prevent fuel from flowing in the reverse direction.
Pressure Relief Valves help to relieve the build up of pressure in the fuel system that can lead to fuel filter damage. Below, we offer four of the most popular models.
