More often than not, the leadwire length on a thermocouple is not adequate to make a connection. When distance is an issue, Hewitt offers this fourteen (14) foot long, "k-type" extension leadwire to increase the connection distance between your thermocouple and your pyrometer. This model has two wires: a red wire (-) and a yellow wire (+). At one end both wires have a round terminal lug. At the other end the yellow wire has a male spade lug, and the red wire has a female spade lug.
