FW Murphy’s original PowerView™ set a new standard for translating engine health statistics and diagnostic codes into a simple-to-read display. Now the next generation – the HelmView™ – is here for the marine market. The HelmView's expanded graphical LCD screen features rich full-color graphics with all the room you need for more engine parameters, more detailed diagnostic messages - even instructions on how to correct engine faults. The large screen means there is more room for engine parameters and detailed diagnostic messages, and it fully integrates engine statistics, transmission, NMEA2000 devices and GPS.
The HelmView™ Marine Display is designed for instrumentation on electronically controlled engines communicating using the SAE J1939 Controller Area Network (CAN), NMEA 2000 or a proprietary blend of protocols. The HelmView™ display is a multifunction tool that enables operators to view many different engine, generator, or transmission parameters and service codes, and can support many devices simultaneously.
Two mounting options are provided for the display. The in-dash mounting option requires a hole to be cut for insertion of the display. The gimbal-mount method enables the display to be installed on a flat surface. It’s design allows you to rotate and tilt the unit for the best display position for the operator’s viewing. HelmView™ is also plug-and-go compatible with all major gas and diesel engine manufacturers. You can install it into almost any vessel without worrying about compatibility.
