The Model 12 Air Temperature Sensor is intended for use in applications that monitor slowly changing temperatures. The unit gives approximately 0.5°F (0.25°C) resolution when used with an 8-bit analog input.
Applications for the probe include monitoring ambient temperature and signaling wind machines to start, or monitoring and maintaining cargo temperatures. The power input voltage is rated at 9 to 28 VDC with a current draw of 1 mA. The provided cable is 24" long, 22 AWG, stranded. A 1/2" clamp is provided.
